General Information

Welcome to the Master’s Satsang Program at the Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Bangkok. The following is the general information of the Program.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

After the discourse in English, there will be a Question & Answer session. Only those over 14 years of age may ask questions. There will be a token selection process at the back of the Satsang Hall from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.

For more details, please go to the Question & Answer Procedures pages on this website.

SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION

Simultaneous Translation into Thai, English, Hindi, and Korean will take place. A designated area with headphones in the Satsang Hall has been arranged for this purpose. Pre-registration is required. Please contact the office for more information.

NOTE TAKING

Master emphasizes that the importance of these meetings is what we absorb. If we put our attention in writing notes, neither are we attentive to him, nor are we able to hear what he says clearly and therefore we are not in a position to accurately reproduce his meaning. One word wrong, one word misplaced, can twist or distort his meaning. It is his wish therefore that we attend to him as fully as we can and take full advantage of his presence amongst us. Let us absorb from his words whatever guidance we can and not spend our time and attention taking notes. Let us look upon Master’s request as an opportunity to experience obedience and to live in his will.

CHILDREN

All children under 10 must go to the Family Area accompanied by one parent or guardian (minimum age 18). The Family area will open from 7:30 am until the end of the satsang program. Parents/guardians will be required to remain with their children the entire time, and once inside the Family Area, they will not be allowed to leave until after the satsang program is over. A parent/Guardian can take care of 4 children at most, whereas a 15 to 17-year-old guardian may care for up to two children, five years or older.  Audio speakers will be installed for listening to the Satsang.

SPECIAL NEEDS FACILITIES

Special Needs will only be provided for Wheelchair users. They are requested to bring their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by an able-bodied helper.

There will be a designated area for all Wheelchair users inside the Satsang Hall.
